Installation & Safety

A Gas Geyser Is Only Safe If It’s Installed Right

These are the basics our technicians follow on every installation — and what we’d want you to check even if someone else installed your unit.

  • Well-ventilated area only. Never install or run a gas geyser in a closed bathroom with no window or exhaust.
  • No Teflon tape on gas or water inlet connections — lock washers only.
  • Check for gas leaks before switching on, every single time.
  • Never cover the unit with a cloth or towel while it’s on or hot.
  • Mount at least 1 foot from the ceiling, with the smoke exit clear.
